- Sam Mayer will carry the Starr Children's Fund for Thursday night's event at Bristol Motor Speedway. In 2017, Bart and Cherry Starr introduced the Starr Children's Fund, which is dedicated to raising funds to support pediatric cancer research and treatments. Their vision is to see children cancer free so that everyone's future benefits.

- Mayer went two-for-two in 2019 in the ARCA East Series at Bristol. Mayer won the spring event in April 2019 from the pole and led every lap and led 13 laps in August en route to victory lane.

- Mayer leads the Sioux Chief Showdown standings by five points over second place entering the ninth round of the Showdown.

- Mayer leads the ARCA East championship standings by 21 points over second place.

- Mayer and the No. 21 team will compete with chassis No. 408 this week at Bristol. Mayer has finished in the top three in each of his four starts with this chassis in 2020, including wins at New Smyrna in February and Dove in August.
